Where are the storms???
So far this season, we've had 8 tropical storms. Last year we'd had 18... with another dozen to come. Right now I'm watching a blob of weather at 16N, 56W. Everything seems to be coming off the coast ...

Speed up start time of WS_FTP
I disliked the Pro version of WS_FTP - too bloated - but had to use it for the dozens of sites I have (no other FTP prog would let me successfully import them). Then I was getting a start-up time of 2...

Flora & Fauna: Noisiesticus domesticus is the tiny bug that gets in your house here in D/a that makes the loudest noise from some hidden location. Only known predator is Pussicus minor....

Still finding equipment hit by lightning
I'm still finding equipment that was screwed up by the lightning strike 2/3 weeks ago. To date, I lost: one VCR, two hubs, 3 network cards, one UPS, one fax, two cordless phones, and one toaster.
